What is the Jog-A-Thon?

The Red Hawk Elementary PTO is sponsoring the Jog-A-Thon as our main fundraiser for the year to benefit the Red Hawk Elementary students.

Students will run, jog, or walk around the upper field course (behind the school). We are not keeping track of laps this year, it will just be for fun!  Flat donations only, not based on laps. *Students will get credit towards the 100 mile club. Preschoolers will be participating in a shorter 10 minute course. Pre-school participation will be voluntary due to no school.

Why are we having a Jog A Thon?

To Raise $63,800 for the school. This year, same as last we are dedicating funds raised from the Jog-A-Thon to hire para-educators at Red Hawk, to help our kids & teachers!

Para-educators help break students into smaller groups, and focus on more one-on-one teaching in important areas, such as math and reading. Did you know that we are down extra help this year?

Our goal is to provide one part-time para per grade level. This extra help makes a huge difference in our children’s education. If each child raises $100 we will meet our goal!


How do I raise money?

Please start contacting Grandma/Grandpa, Aunts/Uncles, Neighbors & Friends, and local businesses for donations now. Remember, several small donations add up quickly! To be eligible for prizes, all donations are due by September 14th at 3:40 pm.  You can donate at:

How do I cheer on my child or volunteer?

We hope you can come out and cheer for all the children as they run, jog, or walk! They will run on Fri. September 14th as follows:

9:35 – 10:20…………4th Grade, AM Kinder

10:25 – 11:10……….3rd Grade, Pre-School

11:15 – 12:00……….5th Grade

1:15 – 2:00…………Full-Day Kinder

2:05-2:50…………..1st Grade, PM Kinder

2:55 – 3:40…………..2nd Grade
